I am an experienced Cambridge curriculum Economics teacher at an independent high school for boys. My teaching philosophy revolves around making theoretical problems as real as possible through practical examples to ensure students grasp concepts deeply, rather than relying on rote memorisation. In Economics, I believe that being able to fully draw and label a model before approaching any related questions is crucial for correct analysis and understanding.
My tutoring experience spans several years, during which I’ve held positions at schools and tutoring centres, as well as offering private tuition. My approach is student-centred, focusing on individual learning styles and needs to make each lesson engaging and effective.
When I’m not tutoring, I love spending time on the mountain. In winter, I enjoy walks in the cooler weather, while in summer, I go for runs in the late afternoon sun. I’m also a passionate cat lover and will happily stop to say hi to any cat I encounter in public.
